Airport Service on Arrival:

We may have collected you from airport in one of our coco ocean cars, ensuring a comfortable and direct journey. If you would like to know about this service for another tie, please see the entries under Guest service and Departure.

Unpacking and Ironing Service:

If you are staying with us for one week or more we offer a complimentary unpacking and ironing service on the day of arrival for any items that you may require for your first evening. Please let reception know if you would like this to be done.

Do you have everything you need?:

We will have shown you around your suite or villa on arrival, But if you find that you require further things e. g extra pillows, coat hangers, bed boards please call reception on ‘0’ and we will arrange things for you.

We can stock your drinks refrigerator with your own choice of beverages if you let us know what you would like. We can also provide special ordered flower arrangements and gift baskets to suit any occasion; for more details and pricing please contact reception.

Our Service Policy:

At Coco Ocean, We are a team-Some of our members are visible and you will meet the regularly during your stay; man y others work behind the scenes’ and high levels of service are central to our offer. Because we wish to operate as a personal venue with valued guests, rather than as a conventional hotel, we aimed to minimize the visibility of commercial transactions. We encourage you to make use of our unified tipping system (See Departure) rather than feeling the need to tip individuals during your stay.

Your Account:

Payment can be made in Sterling, Euro, American Dollars, Senegalese CFA, Gambian Dalassi.
-We accept visa card/ MasterCard
-3% Surcharge is applied by GT Bank for all card transactions.
-American Express and Debit cards are not accepted.
-Card transactions are taken out in local currency only.
-ATM* on site that dispenses local currency only using the bank exchange rate. *Some ATMS charge a local fee for
ATM withdrawals.
-Prior to travel, you should notify your bank and credit card provider you are travelling to The Gambia, West
Africa. We offer Foreign Exchange at the Front Desk, with competitive rates.
Upon making a reservation, we require a credit card for us to have on hold. In the event of a cancellation that has not been communicated 48 hours or more or a no show, Coco Ocean Resort & Spa reserve the right to charge a two-night cancellation fee per room..

Your Security:

Please use you room-safe for valuable items. Our security staffs monitor the property and our beach areas 24 hours a day, but please tae normal precautions in safeguarding your belongings. Increase vigilance is advised when outside of the property.

Our Cellar:

We are proud of our selection of international wines, which have been carefully chosen to drink well in our climate and to compliment your choice of food. Our trained staff will be happy to provide information and suggestions about our stock of wine.

Ocean Lounge Bar:

Situated nest to the courtyards and overlooking the ocean, beachfront and the pools, this is a place where you can relax with a drink and perhaps sample some of our finger food and snacks. We are open every day from late morning to 1:00am

Room Service:

You can order food and drink from room service menu in your room for any occasion. A room service charge of D100 will be applied. Service of food is available everyday from 7:00am – 12:00 midnight; drinks are available 7:00am – 1:00am.

Butler Service:

Butler service is offered for beach club villas from 7:00pm – 10:00pm; rates are available from reception. If you wish to book this service please speak to reception as soon as possible and give at least 48 hours notice. We will Endeavour to meet all requests bit it may not be possible to provide this service at particular busy times.
